Brotherhood should not be cancelled
This, IMHO, is the best show on TV, let alone Showtime. Why would Showtime cancel this show and leave some of the others they have. How about just marketing this show better. It's a great show. It makes me want to cancel my Showtime subscription in protest of this decision on their part.

i feel the same way..the bro -hood was a great show that should have ran at least 3 to 4 more years...leave it to showtime to get rid of a good show......

The ex producer of this show has been a friend of mine for years, Elizabeth Guber Stephen. She got axed by Showtime last year - despite having won a Peabody Award for producing this show. So - basically - it's "politics" that is keeping this show from continuing. However, other networks will soon bid on the opportunity to continue production on this show, I imagine. Hope that helps.

I just can't believe it! Brotherhood is one of the main reasons why I subscribe to Showtime. Cancelled! Say it ain't so!!

the prod office was emptied of it's scenery/sets back in Dec 08, so if another network would pick up BH, they would have to start
from the beginning, production wise...
In my opinion, Low Ratings were a major cause for cancellation..
Also, total lack of advertising for the show...

I just finished watching the last episode of season 3.. Brotherhood is possibility the best tv I have ever seen.. and I'm 62 years old !!! Was there a more powerful scene than the one where Freddie Cork makes the Waterfront developer commit suicide? Its such a powerful show it needed to be supported.. advertised.. I'm bummed

trust me i no exactly how you feel if showtime had any brains they would have canceled something stupid like dexter!!!!! i didnt miss one episode of it !!!!
it was soo real none of it seemed staged . and it was much better then the sopranos !!!!!!!!! : - (

I agree with kkcaffee, it was a better much than the sopranos. If they were going to cancel a show, it should have been dexter after the third season!!! The show still had a soul then, I hate that show now that they took Rita out of it and that is one show I will never watch again!
